TV series in October now..

Well after being told our series was goingt to screen on the 28th of July we’ve now been told that it will be on TV2 starting 31st October this year. Not a lot we can do about programme scheduling on TV. I guess that’s why we enjoy doing our live shows. We get to do what we want, where we want, when we want. Oh well as they say “better late than never”. We’ll keep you posted.

Choka Block DVD recording done

Just returned to Wellington after a great weekend in Australia where we performed in front of a sell-out crowd at the Street Theatre in Canberra on Friday and then performed and recorded our Choka Block DVD at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane. Great to have a sell-out crowd in Brisbane despite the rugby test match between Australia and Wales just a block away at the same time as our show. We had a ball performing and look forward to seeing the DVD footage. We will look to release the Choka Block DVD the same night we premier our Greatest Bits show in Auckland’s Aotea Center on Saturday 13th November.

Our new show this year will be two and a half hours of the best skits from all the shows we’ve done to date. We’re keen to hear from you as to what you think we should have in the show. It’s going to be a full on show with an intermission and we’re really excited about performing it. We will premier the show on Saturday the 13th of November in the ASB Auditorium at the Aotea Centre and then perform it again a week later Saturday the 20th at the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington before we take it on the road again. So if there’s a skit you’d like to see then leave us a message on our message board and we’ll see which ones get the most requests.

Well at long last we’re finally confirmed to perform in Papua New Guinea. We’re scheduled to perform at the going to be performing on Saturday the 18th of September at Crowne Plaza in Port Moresby.
